Business for a Cause!
When Businesses Unite, Communities Win!
As leaders in the business community, our reach extends far beyond the open hand of a nonprofit organization.
Through innovation, operational strategy, and technology, we can amplify their impact, extend their voice, and strengthen their mission.
The organizations we support are driven by passionate, hardworking teams who change lives every day. What they often lack is not purpose, but platform.
Business for a Cause exists to close that gap.
The Mission
Founded by Tom Leatherberry, Business for a Cause exists to unite business leadership and nonprofit impact through visibility, connection, and shared expertise.
Our mission is to create a platform where mission-driven organizations are spotlighted before an engaged audience of business professionals — while simultaneously equipping nonprofits with access to the services, technology, and strategic partnerships they need to operate and grow effectively.
We are built on four core pillars:
- Nonprofit Visibility & Amplification – Amplify their mission before a concentrated network of business leaders.
- Business-to-Nonprofit Expertise Exchange – Create intentional opportunities for businesses to present relevant services, technology, and strategic solutions directly to nonprofit leaders.
- Foster Authentic Engagement – Foster an environment where business leaders can engage meaningfully as strategic partners who contribute innovation, influence, and expertise to strengthen the community, in a relaxed, come-as-you-are environment that encourages meaningful relationships.
- Lead With Purpose – Inspire business leaders to move beyond transactions and toward transformation – engaging not only as supporters, but as partners in building stronger communities Win!
What Business for a Cause Means.

- Amplify community impact
Because when businesses lend more than dollars — when they lend expertise — communities win.

Revved Up Kids
Revved Up Kids is on a mission to do something every community needs — and every child deserves: protection, awareness, and the confidence to stay safe.
Through powerful, age-appropriate abuse prevention training, Revved Up Kids equips children, teens, and adults with the knowledge and instincts to recognize danger, set boundaries, and respond with confidence. Their programs go beyond awareness — they provide real-world personal safety and self-defense training that empowers young people to take control of their own safety, both in person and online.
In a world where threats like exploitation and trafficking are increasingly complex and often hidden in plain sight, education becomes one of the strongest forms of defense. Revved Up Kids meets this challenge head-on — stepping into schools, communities, and families to deliver tools that can prevent harm before it ever happens.
Because the goal isn’t just to react — it’s to prepare, protect, and empower.
Every child deserves to feel safe.
Every family deserves peace of mind.
And through their work, Revved Up Kids is helping make that a reality.
Georgia Festival of Trees
The Georgia Festival of Trees is a joyful holiday event that brings the community together while supporting a meaningful cause. The festival is built on three pillars:
Impact — raising awareness and funds for organizations working to end human trafficking in Georgia
Experience — creating a fun, engaging holiday tradition for families and the community
Community — building a strong volunteer network where people connect, serve, and make a difference together
At the heart of the festival is a commitment to protecting children and supporting survivors. Proceeds and awareness efforts benefit organizations like Street Grace, which works to prevent the sexual exploitation of children through education, advocacy, and demand reduction, along with other partners serving vulnerable youth and families across Georgia.
The Georgia Festival of Trees not only celebrates the holiday season but also works tirelessly to create safer communities and brighter futures for those most at risk.

GSFC is proud of its long history of helping students access higher education by providing financial aid options and programs to make college more affordable.
As the state’s single higher education finance agency, our mission is to promote and increase access to education beyond high school for Georgians. We accomplish this by administering numerous scholarship, grant, and student loan programs and providing outreach and education services statewide.

Spectrum Autism Support Center
Spectrum Autism Support Group was founded in 1998 with a heartfelt mission: to ensure that no individual or family impacted by autism walks their journey alone. What began as a support network has grown
into a lifeline for more than 2,000 families across Gwinnett County and the Metro Atlanta community — a place where connection, understanding, and hope come together.
Through support groups, summer day camps, overnight camps, social skills programs, respite care, community training, and family-centered events, Spectrum creates opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities to thrive, build relationships, and experience a true sense of belonging.
As autism rates have risen to 1 in 31 – and continue to grow – so too has the urgency for meaningful support. And Spectrum rises to meet that need every day – filling critical gaps, uplifting families, and creating moments of progress, confidence, and joy where they are needed most.
Because for the families they serve, this is more than support.
It’s community. It’s empowerment. It’s hope.
